Just 70 km from Marrakech, Oukaimeden is located in the High Atlas mountains and offers the best skiing in Morocco and North Africa. Oukaimeden boasts Africa's highest ski lift and almost 12.5 miles of runs and many off-piste options. The surrounding scenery is awe-inspiring.

Oukaimeden offers a selection of 20 trails for various levels of ability, but the ski resort’s most outstanding attraction is the access it provides to countless untracked trails that wind through the High Atlas mountain range. The slopes are served by seven chairlifts including the continent’s highest at an altitude of 10,734 feet. Sledging and snowboarding can also be enjoyed.
During more temperate seasons, Oukaimeden serves as a convenient base from which hikers, climbers and mountain bikers can explore the terrain of eastern Morocco and the prehistoric stone carvings present throughout the area.
The town offers a choice of accommodation, chalets, ski rental facilities, restaurants and shops. With a journey time from Marrakech of little over 1 hour and 20 minutes by road, Oukaimeden can be reached by private vehicle from Marrakech or by helicopter charter.
